Excited to bring the service to all of Canada, they register 50 other similar domain names
2005
UsedOttawa.com, UsedWinnipeg.com and UsedVictoria.com are launched and quickly surpass UsedVancouver.com’s active postings
The collection of sites is called UsedCanada.com
2006
UsedCanada.com positions itself as “Canada’s answer to eBay”
Ottawa-based TradeBug.com is acquired with its trade name and audience and merges into UsedOttawa.com
More sites are launched including UsedCalgary.com, UsedEdmonton.com, UsedRegina.com and UsedPEI.com
2007
UsedCanada.com’s network of local free classified websites grows 400% from the previous year, now receiving over a million pageviews per day and serving communities and advertisers across Canada
Black Press of Victoria, BC, the largest privately owned publisher of community newspapers in North America, acquires UsedCanada.com from Don Barthel
2008
UsedCanada.com becomes UsedEverywhere.com with a network of 73 free classified websites
Traffic grows to 1.6 million unique visitors and over 55 million pageviews per month
