The learned hipsters, social ninjas, blogging gurus, and tech-savvy youth of Victoria, BC (and surrounding villages) will gather together this Sunday to speak about the latest trends in the vast and ever-changing social media world. What is social media? It’s human social behavior through a technology lens. It’s Facebook, Twitter, the blogosphere, email, bbm, and reddit. It’s any website, technology or media that leverages the power of social interaction to build community and dialogue. It’s also a bit ostentatious, but don’t tell them we said so.
