Vancouver, BC – March 4, 2013

UsedVancouver.com announced today a ‘Moms Love to Swap’ event at ‘Movies for Mommies’ on March 6th and 7th at Vancouver’s Collingwood Cinema and Hollywood 3 Cinema.
The events will allow Moms and Dads to bring their babies along to the baby-friendly movie theatre where the volume is reduced, lights are brighter and in-theatre change tables are provided.

Before the movie begins, UsedVancouver.com will host a mini-swap meet. Moms and Dads will be selling and trading their gently used baby gear, clothes and toys. The swap takes place in the theatre lobby and runs for an hour before the movie starts.

“This is a great event for parents to reward themselves for a job well done and get out and enjoy a current and popular movie for grown-ups – not just the cartoons that usually occupy TV time at home,” said Erin Richards, Used.ca Marketing Coordinator. “Parents will also have a chance to buy, sell and trade used baby items and meet other parents, so it promises to be a fun time.”

Wednesday, March 6. Doors open at 10:30am, movie starts at 11:30

Thursday, March 7. Doors open at 10:30am, movie starts at 11:30

Where: Hollywood 3 Cinemas, 19190 Lougheed Hwy, Pitt Meadows

Movie: Silver Linings Playbook

Tickets: $8 (movie ticket, popcorn and drink)
