UsedPEI.com Launches Community Initiative to Gather Baby Sleepers for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Maternity Ward

UsedPEI.com is encouraging local residents to help fulfill a need at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s maternity unit by donating much needed baby sleepers.

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI – January 24, 2014

UsedPEI.com is inviting PEI residents to take part in a campaign to dontate baby sleepers to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). Community help is needed because the hospital does not have a budget for purchasing sleepers, and they rely on public donations to provide for newborns.

“We are focusing on sizes for newborns to 0-3 month olds, and we are working hard to collect as many as we can,” said Alicia Packwood, UsedPEI.com Community Coordinator.

If residents are able to help, they can drop off baby sleepers at That Fun Place, located at 401 Capital Drive in Charlottetown (off the North River Causeway). Drop off hours are listed here.

Baby sleeper donations will be accepted until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at That Fun Place.
