UsedPEI.com Delivers Over 200 Donated Baby Sleepers to Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Maternity Ward

The PEI community has stepped up once again to fulfill a need at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Donated baby sleepers will be dropped off at QEH Saturday morning.

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI – January 30, 2014

PEI residents have responded with generosity and come out in big numbers to ensure there are enough baby sleepers for newborns at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). The hospital does not have a budget for purchasing sleepers, but thanks to the donations they will receive over 200 sleepers this Saturday.

“This proves, once again, how generous and caring our community is,” said Alicia Packwood, UsedPEI.com Community Coordinator. “This will certainly put some smiles on young moms’ faces, and it will ensure that the newborns are happy and comfortable too.”

UsedPEI.com extends an invite to all media to join them as they present the donations on Saturday, January 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at the Maternity Ward at the QEH.

This campaign was such a success that UsedPEI.com is now looking at making sleeper donations to the QEH more than once a year.

New moms are also encouraged to consider donating their own sleepers to the QEH when they are finished using them.
