Victoria, B.C. –  UsedVictoria.com and Used.ca,  the largest Canadian owned online classified network, have won the 2011 EPPY Award for best classified website with 250,000 to 1 million unique monthly visitors.

The EPPY Awards, presented by Editor & Publisher Magazine, honour the best media-affiliated websites across 43 diverse categories. Now in its 16th year, this international contest has broadened its scope to keep up with the ever-changing Internet industry.

“We are honoured to receive this award and be to recognized for our leadership in social commerce and in the online classified space,” said Tish Hill, G.M. of Used.ca. “In  2012 we will continue to provide our community of users with new social media tools and applications to allow them to access our online classifieds when, where and how they want to. We believe that online classified firms that go social with their offerings will be industry leaders for years to come.”

Entries in the EPPY Awards were judged by a panel of notable figures in the media industry, chosen by the staff of Editor & Publisher.

All EPPY winners are being featured in Editor & Publisher Magazine.
