Press Releases Congratulates the Four $1,000 Winners of its Post to WIN Contest

The contest, which was launched in July, helped to keep over 47,000 items out of landfills as users de-cluttered and posted items on the site.

VICTORIA, B.C. – today announced the grand prize Post to WIN contest winners along with two iPad mini winnners. To enter the contest, participants simply uploaded a household item for sale, trade or free on their local site.

Winners of the $1,000 grand prizes came from across the continent – as far east as PEI and west to Seattle and Victoria. The $1,000 winners are:

The winners posted a wide range of household items on their local city site in Canada and the U.S.

The contest has been a big success for the environment and for reducing household clutter. users managed to keep 47,258 items out of the landfill and helped 28,620 households de-clutter.
