3 Ipad Minis Up for Grabs at this Weekend’s UsedOttawa.com Winter Scavenger Hunt at Winterlude Feb.16th and 17th!
Ottawa, ON – February 12, 2013
UsedOttawa.com announced today that they will be hosting a Winter Scavenger Hunt during the final weekend of Winterlude on February 16th and 17th starting at 10am.
Those wishing to participate can check UsedOttawa’s Twitter and Facebook pages prior to 10am on both Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th to find out the UsedOttawa team’s exact location to pick up a t-shirt and scavenger hunt list.
Participants will trek around the city taking photos and videos of fun and silly things on the list that will take them across downtown Ottawa but will all be within walking distance of each other.
There will also be an online component to the scavenger hunt list, which instructs participants to go online and complete some tasks, including emailing in their entry.
“We thought this would be a fun event to have participants enjoying some of Ottawa’s great sites on a beautiful winter weekend while competing for iPad Minis,” said Julia Milstone-Turner of UsedOttawa. “We’re looking forward to this becoming a fun winter tradition in Ottawa and we hope to meet a lot of our site’s users.”
While participants are encouraged to do the activities with their friends or family, UsedOttawa will only be taking individual entries. This is important because the prizes are not group-friendly – although winners are encouraged to share their good fortune if they take home one of the iPad minis.
Entries will be sent to winterhunt@used.ca . Full instructions can be found on the scavenger hunt list that will be handed out and three new cellular data-capable iPad minis will be awarded to the winners.
