Help end childhood cancer by supporting the 2019 Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock – September 21 – October 5

Tour de Rock is a two-week bike journey the length of Vancouver Island in which a team of first responders visit 27 communities to raise money to help end childhood cancer. Since 1998, the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock has raised more than $25 million for the Canadian Cancer Society. Through research funded by Tour de Rock, childhood cancers can now be detected earlier, better treatments are available, and more children are surviving and thriving. Your donations have also sent more than 9,000 kids to Camp Goodtimes over the last 21 years. But there is still more to do. Every year, around 950 Canadian children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with cancer, and cancer is still the top cause of disease-related death among children in Canada. Two-thirds of these survivors will suffer serious long-term side effects from their treatment. By donating to Tour de Rock, you support research into new ways to detect, diagnose and treat childhood cancers, as well as reduce the side-effects that are a result of their treatments. You make a difference. Thank you! Donate now here!
