Available for short term between June 1-July 19th (message for rates), and then will be available for a long term tenant from Sept 19/26 onwards.
This would best suit an independant, mature professional who values their privacy, proximity to nature, yet still close to downtown and local amenities.

This is a special place, an uber-cute and charming cottage. Recently updated, but still full of rustic charm. Fully furnished and equipped.

Description: A free-standing private home situated in a bird sanctuary, just 10 minutes drive from downtown. You have a view of the water (Portage Inlet) from your kitchen and bedroom windows.
The main floor consists of the kitchen and eating area, master bedroom (queen bed), and four-piece bathroom. We have recently added a beautiful new deck onto the bedroom where you can relax in privacy surrounded by trees, and a view of the water. The lower level (down approximately 12 steps) is the living room, with sofabed. From the lower level you have access to your private outdoor covered stone patio with BBQ beside a shady creek, with views of the inlet. A short walk around the main house takes you to the waterfront dock and patio (see photos). Note: You cannot see the dock from the cottage...it is on the other side of the main (landlord's) house.
For longterm rental all utilities, Hydro, Internet, Cable TV, etc included, for a set monthly charge of $300. This makes the total monthly rent $2500/m, all included (unless you bring pets, see below).
There is a dedicated parking spot for the cottage.
We are pet friendly, and you may bring up to 2 of your furry friends as long as they are house-trained and well-behaved. The back patio area is fenced making a small enclosed outdoor space for your pets. There is a pet fee of $50/month.
No smoking allowed in the cottage.
