The I Do Booth: Pop Up Weddings at Victoria Pride Festival

The Victoria Pride Festival is creating a meaningful and accessible space for 2SLGBTQIA+ couples to celebrate their love.

Created by Linda Newcomb of Fêtes by Linda, The I Do Booth is a pop-up wedding experience designed for couples who may not have had the opportunity to marry in a traditional setting. For many in the queer community, weddings can be out of reach due to financial barriers or a lack of familial support.

The I Do Booth aims to change that. Five couples will take part in short, joyful ceremonies during Pride, complete with a licensed officiant, drag queen flower girls, photography, and celebratory details.

The project is supported through community sponsorship, with local businesses helping bring the experience to life.

Couples can sign up to participate, and businesses or individuals are invited to support through sponsorship or in-kind contributions.
