LIFT- Learning Independence for Future Transitions
Listed 2 weeks ago in Penticton, British Columbia
Project LIFT (Learning Independence for Future Transitions) is a free, welcoming 10-week program for young people ages 16-29 with disabilities who are preparing for greater independence and their future.
Through online workshops, participants will explore practical topics including independent living, employment and career planning, financial literacy, self-advocacy, relationships, social skills, community connections, and future planning.
LIFT is also about connection. We create a supportive space to learn, share experiences, build confidence, and hopefully make new friends through our in-person social events.
The Fall 2026 group begins October 1.
Location: Okanagan
In-person events: Kelowna
If you're looking to build skills, confidence, friendships, and a stronger plan for your future, LIFT may be a great fit for you!
