This Indian High Gloss Lacquered Kashmir Jewelry Box using Hand Painted 22K Gold belonged to my mother, and was part of my estate share. Took to Old & Gold in town. They couldn't appraise this type of item, as more valuable than if just gold alone. The Kashmir box is a piece of traditional papier-mâché art, handcrafted and intricately painted by artisans in Kashmir.
